Placements24 is hiring an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager for our client in Paarl, Western Cape. The role oversees inbound, storage, picking, dispatch, and inventory control, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and timely fulfillment.

You will lead a dedicated team, optimize layout, implement WMS, and drive data‑driven improvements to throughput. A strong FMCG or large-scale warehousing background is ideal, with a hands-on management style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in warehouse/logistics operations management.
• Experience in large-scale warehouse operations with inventory control.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Data-driven approach to process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations including inbound, storage, outbound, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
• Manage inventory levels with regular stock takes and cycle counts.
• Ensure safe and compliant warehouse operations following health and safety regulations.
• Lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to meet targets and foster a positive work environment.
• Optimize layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers.
• Utilize WMS for operational oversight and performance monitoring.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve throughput and accuracy.
• Assist in controlling operational costs and contribute to budget management.
