Placements24 is seeking an experienced Logistics Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize the Centurion-based vehicle fleet. The role blends on-site oversight with remote planning and analysis to drive efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness in vehicle operations.

You will lead maintenance scheduling, driver management, and route optimization while ensuring compliance with regulations. The position offers a hybrid work model, with opportunities for professional development and a company vehicle

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management software.
Excellent understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
Demonstrated ability in cost control, route optimization, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the company’s vehicle fleet and ensure optimal performance.
Develop and implement fleet maintenance schedules to keep vehicles safe and operational.
Manage driver performance, schedules, and compliance with policies and regulations.
Analyze fleet data to identify trends, optimize routes, reduce fuel consumption, and cut costs.
Ensure compliance with local and national transportation laws and regulations.
Source and manage relationships with external maintenance providers and parts suppliers.
