Job summary

Placements24 seeks a specialized Procurement Specialist focused on Fleet and Equipment to oversee sourcing, maintenance contracts, and disposal of assets in Bloemfontein. You will negotiate terms, manage supplier relationships, and ensure asset uptime while optimizing total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 4–6 years in procurement with fleet/equipment focus.
• Proven experience negotiating complex contracts with automotive and equipment suppliers.
• Knowledge of fleet management software and asset tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for fleet vehicles, heavy machinery, and related equipment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers in automotive/equipment sectors.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and SLAs for fleet and equipment purchases and leases.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies on asset acquisition and disposal.
• Monitor market trends and tech advancements to inform procurement decisions.
