Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in Logistics or related field advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years in logistics coordination, freight forwarding or similar, with expedited freight experience.
• Proficiency with logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures and Incoterms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Familiarity with air and sea freight operations and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage scheduling and execution of expedited freight shipments, domestic and international.
• Liaise with clients, carriers and customs brokers for timely and compliant movement of goods.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation including air waybills, bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Track shipment progress and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve logistical issues such as delays, damages or holds proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses and communications in the logistics system.
• Optimize transportation routes and modes for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers and logistics partners.
• Monitor industry trends and regulations affecting expedited freight.
• Support the team with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed.
