Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Specialized Disinfection Technician for a contract role in Sandton, Gauteng. The role combines on-site disinfection with remote scheduling and reporting in a hybrid model.

You'll use electrostatic sprayers and foggers, follow safety protocols, maintain records, and liaise with clients to ensure high hygiene standards across commercial spaces. Relevant certifications in chemical handling are a plus, and the position offers PPE, equipment, and the chance to work

Qualifications

• Proven disinfection or specialized cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of disinfectants, sanitizers and proper application.
• Familiarity with foggers and sprayers and safety protocols.
• Chemicals handling or disinfection certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized disinfection services using approved chemicals and equipment.
• Conduct cleaning and decontamination across offices, retail spaces, and public facilities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain and service disinfection equipment and keep records of products used and hours on site.
• Coordinate with the office for scheduling and reporting in a hybrid setup.
