Placements24 is seeking a skilled Specialized Disinfection Technician for a contract role in Sandton, Gauteng. The role combines on-site disinfection with remote scheduling and reporting in a hybrid model.

You'll use electrostatic sprayers and foggers, follow safety protocols, maintain records, and liaise with clients to ensure high hygiene standards across commercial spaces. Relevant certifications in chemical handling are a plus, and the position offers PPE, equipment, and the chance to work

This role operates on a hybrid model, involving on-site service delivery and remote coordination for scheduling and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a background in disinfection, industrial cleaning, or a related field, with a strong understanding of sanitization agents, equipment, and safety procedures. You will be crucial in maintaining sterile environments and protecting public health.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized disinfection services using approved chemicals and equipment (e.g., electrostatic sprayers, foggers).
• Execute cleaning and decontamination procedures for a variety of environments including offices, retail spaces, and public facilities.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Manage and maintain disinfection equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Prepare and mix disinfection solutions according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, chemicals used, and time spent on site.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service completion and any observed issues.
