Job summary

iOCO is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric expertise to design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions. You will work with Data Analysts, Scientists, BI developers, and stakeholders to ensure trustworthy, well-structured data for reporting and advanced analytics.

The role focuses on ingestion, transformation, storage, modelling, and delivery of data across the organisation, leveraging Fabric components to build modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric and components (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2).
• Ingest data from APIs, databases, cloud platforms, files and enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures.
• Implement data quality, governance, monitoring and validation.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Scientists, BI developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Develop data solutions using Microsoft Fabric components as listed.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes across diverse data sources.
• Transform, cleanse, validate and prepare data for reporting and analytics.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python and/or PySpark.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security and access controls.
• Support CI/CD and deployment across environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into solutions.
