Job summary

Asuer (Pty) is seeking a Junior-to-Mid Data Analyst to turn messy business questions into clear reports, dashboards and decisions. You will spend most of your time in SQL, Excel and QuickSight, collaborating with the Data Engineer and Data Scientist to make customer, claims and network data visible across the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Data Analyst or BI role
• Strong business instincts and ability to translate questions into insights
• Experience owning dashboards end-to-end (design, build, maintain)

Responsibilities

• Build BI dashboards in QuickSight (or similar).
• Translate ad-hoc business questions into clean, repeatable reports.
• Write SQL against PostgreSQL to extract, shape and validate data.
• Maintain metric definitions so the business speaks a single language.
• Interpret trends and anomalies using existing models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineer and Data Scientist for deeper insights.
• Document analyses, assumptions and methodologies for future reuse.
