Job summary

Network International in Cape Town is seeking a data analyst to support the business through data extraction, analysis, and interpretation, delivering accurate reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders across product, commercial, operational and merchant-facing use cases.

You will contribute to dashboarding and reporting capabilities, develop data visualisations with AWS QuickSight, and help improve data processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and analyse data from internal systems to produce accurate and reliable reports.
• Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting to various stakeholders across the business, including product performance, management reporting, and merchant-specific requests.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, translating findings into clear and actionable insights.
• Support product teams with performance evaluation, feature analysis, and impact assessments.
• Provide data-driven support to commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives across the business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure outputs meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations, primarily using AWS QuickSight.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all reporting outputs.
• Assist in improving data processes, workflows, and reporting efficiency.
• Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
