Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Cold Chain Logistics Specialist for a leading temperature-controlled logistics provider serving pharma and food sectors. The role is based in Polokwane, Limpopo, with a hybrid work arrangement to ensure product integrity and efficient supply chains.

The Specialist will monitor, manage, and optimize cold chain operations across warehousing and transportation, ensuring GDP/HACCP compliance and safe handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics or related field.
• 3–5 years of cold chain logistics experience.
• Knowledge of GDP/HACCP regulatory standards.
• Experience with warehousing and transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize temperature-controlled warehousing operations.
• Plan transportation of temperature-sensitive goods with suitable carriers.
• Ensure GDP/HACCP compliance and regulatory standards.
• Utilize monitoring technology and data analysis to track excursions.
• Develop SOPs for cold chain operations and train staff.
