Placements24 is seeking a proactive Civil Project Engineer in Rustenburg to manage technical delivery on civil construction projects with a hybrid work model. You will supervise on-site activities and contribute to planning and scheduling to meet quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will bridge design and construction, lead site teams, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with engineering standards. A civil engineering degree and relevant registration are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous.
• 5+ years of civil construction project management or site engineering experience.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and quality control.
• Proficient with project management software and standard office apps.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day technical operations of civil projects on construction sites.
• Ensure activities adhere to approved designs, plans and specs.
• Conduct regular site inspections for progress, quality and safety.
• Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Manage project documentation, progress reports and technical correspondence.
• Contribute to planning and scheduling for efficient resource use.
