Placements24 is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for our East London, Eastern Cape office. You will drive growth by identifying opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and expanding recruitment services across industries.

This role combines remote and office-based work in a hybrid model to maintain strong client engagement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in business development or sales within professional services, a proven track record of meeting revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years in business development, sales or account management.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Understanding of the recruitment landscape is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and prospect new clients within target industries and geographical areas.
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing clients.
• Understand client needs and articulate tailored recruitment solutions effectively.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new service opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
• Negotiate and close contracts for recruitment services.
• Collaborate with the internal recruitment delivery teams to ensure seamless service handover.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business.
