Job summary

Frogg Recruitment is seeking an experienced bookkeeper for a position in Bellville, Cape Town. The role requires solid experience on SAGE, VIP Payroll for 25 staff, and handling full debtors/creditors with VAT and SARS eFiling knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have up to five years of bookkeeping experience, Excel proficiency, and be comfortable working in a retail/wholesale environment with responsibilities including month-end journals and procurement support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day bookkeeping for a Trial Balance using SAGE.
• Salaries and wages for 25 staff via VIP Payroll.
• Submission to SARS.
• Full debtors and creditors management.
• Report to Financial Manager.
• Prepare sales and revenue reports in Excel.
• Assist with procurement, buying, and tender documentation.
• Bank reconciliation and posting of month-end journals (prepayments, depreciation, accruals).

Bookkeeper position available in Bellville, Cape Town.

Our retail client is looking for experienced bookkeeper with up to 5 years' experience working on SAGE.

You need solid experience on SAGE to complete a Trial Balance. Must have set experience with full debtors, creditors, cashbook, ledgers, recons, salaries 25 people on VIP payroll. Retail, wholesale important and export experience essential.

Salary: R40 000 - R50 000 per month.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant Bookkeeping/financial certificate/diploma an added bonus
• 5 years of bookkeeping experience is essential.
• Experience working in a retail, fmch or wholesale environment an added bonus.
