Placements24 seeks a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage financial records for a diverse client base in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. The role includes maintaining ledgers, processing transactions, and preparing financial reports, with a hybrid work arrangement offering flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma or Certificate in Bookkeeping or Accounting, experience with multiple clients, and proficiency in Pastel Partner, Xero, or QuickBooks along with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Experience as a bookkeeper, with multi-client experience.
• Proficient in Pastel Partner, Xero or QuickBooks; strong Excel.

Responsabilités

• Maintain ledgers and subsidiary ledgers.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage payroll processing for client employees.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with VAT submissions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Maintain organized financial records.
• Communicate effectively with clients about their financial matters.
• Support partners with ad-hoc financial analysis.
