Placements24 is offering a Junior Blockchain Developer internship in East London. You will work under experienced developers on smart contracts and dApps, with a hybrid work setup mixing office time in East London and remote project work.

This role is a stepping stone into the growing blockchain field. You will gain hands-on experience with Solidity, Truffle or Hardhat, and learn development best practices while contributing to real projects and receiving mentorship in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of blockchain concepts and distributed ledgers.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (JavaScript, Python, Solidity).
• Eagerness to learn, good problem-solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, testing, and deployment of smart contracts.
• Learn and apply blockchain development best practices.
• Support integration of smart contracts with frontend and backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging blockchain applications.
• Contribute to technical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
