Job summary

Our client in Paarl is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead software development projects within a dynamic tech division. The role blends in-office collaboration with remote work, and requires guiding the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a degree in CS or engineering and 3–5 years of software project management experience in Agile settings, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software project management, preferably in an Agile environment.
• In-depth understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project team members.
• Oversee the deployment process and post-launch support for software releases.
