Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a client in Tembisa to fill an Accountant role. This hybrid position combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility, enabling you to support daily accounting tasks and contribute to month-end close.

You will work closely with the finance manager to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries, with a focus on detail and reliability in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage daily accounting tasks with accuracy.
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting.
• Ability to work in hybrid in-office and remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial reports.
• Perform reconciliations as part of regular closing processes.
