Job summary

Obrien Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Administrator for a temporary role within an HVAC Projects Team in Cape Town. You will support the project team, manage job orders, and handle budgeting and documentation in a busy project environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in project administration, strong Excel skills, and a valid driver’s license. Immediate availability and residence in the Cape Town area are preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric is essential.
• 3–5 years of project administration experience.
• HVAC or technical project experience is advantageous.
• Certificate or Diploma in Project Management/Administration.
• Driver's license held for longer than one year.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the project team.
• Assist with tender documentation, submissions and filing.
• Open and manage job orders.
• Raise purchase orders for suppliers.
• Track project budgets, expenditure and profitability.
• Assist with billing and financial reporting.
• Maintain project documentation and filing.
• Track tasks, milestones and deadlines.
• Support project performance reports and action plans.
• Maintain Health & Safety documentation and compliance records.
• Liaise with Project Managers, suppliers and stakeholders.
