Job summary

Xelvin is seeking HVAC Technicians and Engineers to join their Dutch client network. The role involves working with climate control and mechanical systems, solving technical problems, and improving reliability of installations.

Afrikaans and English fluency, plus a relevant HVAC qualification, are required. The package includes relocation support and a 1-2 year contract with emphasis on long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Must speak Afrikaans and English well.
• Qualification in HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration or Building Services required.
• Experience as HVAC Technician / HVAC Engineer / Refrigeration Technician / Mechanical Technician / Building Services Engineer required.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, residential, food production, data centre or process environments preferred.
• Able to read mechanical drawings, ductwork layouts, P&IDs, schematics and technical documentation.

We are looking for practical HVAC professionals who enjoy working with climate control and mechanical systems, solving technical problems and improving the reliability of complex installations.

You could be a good fit if you:

• Speak Afrikaans and English well
• Have a relevant qualification in HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration or Building Services
• Have experience as an HVAC Technician / HVAC Engineer / Refrigeration Technician / Mechanical Technician / Building Services Engineer
• Have worked in industrial, commercial, residential, food production, data centre or process environments
• Can work with HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, compressors, ductwork, ventilation and cooling/heating equipment
• Have experience with fault finding, installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Can read mechanical drawings, ductwork layouts, P&IDs, schematics and technical documentation
• Have knowledge of refrigeration cycles, control systems, BMS, energy efficiency or industrial climate systems
• Are hands‑on, safety‑focused and able to work well with maintenance, production and project teams
• Are motivated to work abroad and grow long‑term in the Netherlands

• Mechanical Maintenance Technicians
• Technicians or engineers with strong experience in industrial cooling, commercial climate control, food processing or process environments
