The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning complex industrial chilled water systems, cooling towers, and air handling units. This is a senior-level role requiring strong technical expertise, extensive commissioning experience, and the ability to operate autonomously in demanding industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission, test, and optimize industrial chilled water systems, cooling towers, and air handling units.
- Perform start-up, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning of HVAC systems to meet performance and compliance standards.
- Apply sound electrical knowledge in troubleshooting and system integration.
- Work with control systems and Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure correct operation.
- Read, interpret, and apply detailed electrical and control schematics to commissioning tasks.
- Prepare accurate technical reports, system handover documentation, and client briefings.
- Provide technical input and guidance to project teams during installation and commissioning phases.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
Requirements
- Completed formal refrigeration apprenticeship or recognized HVAC Engineering qualification.
- Minimum 10 years experience commissioning industrial chilled water systems, cooling towers, and AHUs.
- Strong electrical knowledge and hands-on ability with control systems.
- Skilled in BMS operations and interpretation of electrical / control schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required.
