Qualifications

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in electrical maintenance, preferably substations.
• Strong understanding of high‑voltage equipment and substation ops.
• Proficient with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license; able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Safety-focused and proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of substation equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance per schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in substation environments.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new components.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Maintain records of activities, test results, and equipment status.
