Job summary

The Working Earth in Randburg is seeking a seasoned Human Resources leader to rebuild and strengthen the HR function across a growing multi-site business. This role is hands-on and requires rolling up one’s sleeves to drive compliance, governance, and strong employee relations while implementing accountability structures.

You will lead governance improvements, enforce standards, and help create a fair but accountable workplace culture across all sites.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 8 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership, HR Operations or Employee Relations role.
• SABPP membership or similar professional affiliation.
• Experience in multi-site or operational environments.
• Experience with Sage, VIP, PaySpace or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
• Experience in founder-led, growing or entrepreneurial businesses.
• Proven track record of improving HR governance and operational controls.
