Job summary

CTM Africa is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead the people strategy across its multi-site operations in South Africa. The role reports to the Brand Leader and partners with the Operations Team and stakeholders to drive change and ensure inclusion in the journey.

You will mentor, coach and develop Store Operators, Sales, Warehouse, and Ops teams, ensuring governance, EE alignment, and a high-performance culture across CTM stores.

• Manage the full employee lifecycle with emphasis on acquisition/onboarding and development.
• Collaborate with Group HC and Operations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Work with Group Learning and Development Specialist to drive training initiatives for high-performance culture.
• Drive performance improvements in partnership with CTM Brand Leader and leadership team.

Reporting to the Brand Leader, you will operate as the HC business partner to the Operations Team, and all other stakeholders across the business.To be successful in this exciting role, you must have gained experience in driving change throughout an organization. We are seeking a strong leader who is confident in contributing at a Senior Level in the organization and accustomed to influencing a diverse range of stakeholders in a geographically spread, multi-site business.

You will be responsible for creating and overseeing the delivery of the people strategy in line with the business goals where you will mentor, coach and develop Store Operators, Sales, Warehouse, and the Ops Team to ensure that everyone is included in the journey.

• Partnering with all stakeholders to provide coaching and advice, implement and execute HC goals and objective which support business priorities
• Developing employee engagement initiatives to make CTM a great place to work for all employees
• You will be responsible for HC related local governance and compliance (including alignment with EE initiatives) across all stores
• The role will encompass the full employee lifecycle, however, will pay close attention to talent both from an acquisition/onboarding perspective and development
• It will be important to drive and steer business interactions with Group HC and operations to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
• You will work closely with the Group Learning and Development Specialist to develop and implement training initiatives that will drive and maintain a high-performance culture
• Responsible to improve performance resulting in increased sales in partnership with the CTM BRand LEader (MD) and their leadership team.
• Proven organizational development and advising skills to serve as a trusted partner to the business.
• Solid team experience with the ability to inspire and willing to lead change through the Company.
• Experience of working in a complex, dynamic and constantly changing environment with a high focus on collaboration.
• An advanced degree in business or HR.
• Driver's license, and the ability to travel across South Africa
