Placements24 in Polokwane is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across operations. The role supports a strong safety culture with a hybrid work model in Limpopo.

You will develop and implement HSE policies, conduct site inspections, investigate incidents, provide training, and monitor environmental performance to uphold permits and regulations, delivering continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in energy/industrial sector.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
• Strong auditing, investigation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to promote safety culture in Polokwane.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Investigate HSE incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
