Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services leader to deliver centralized HR administration, data governance and service delivery across the organisation. You will lead the HRSS team, set governance controls, and partner with HR Business Partners to ensure a positive employee experience.

You will drive standardised processes, maintain HRIS data integrity, and oversee reporting on headcount, turnover, and contracts while building a capable, diverse team and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in HR, business administration, industrial psychology or related discipline.
• Postgraduate degree is advantageous for advanced HR competencies.
• A relevant payroll qualification or certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR Shared Services team to deliver accurate, timely HR services across the employee lifecycle.
• Oversee end-to-end HR administration, data accuracy and operational processes with governance controls.
• Manage HR queries via case management/ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive standardised HR processes, documentation and ways of working across the organisation.
• Escalate complex, high-risk HR operational matters and provide guidance to the team.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to ensure smooth service handovers and employee experience.
• Lead HRIS administration, data governance and HR reporting (headcount, turnover, leave, contracts).
• Oversee user enablement and training for HR systems and self-service tools.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process redesign).
• Benchmark service delivery against best practice.
