Job summary

Network Finance, an established investment company in Johannesburg North, is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Manager to lead human resources and payroll functions and support growth through effective people management and compliance.

The role covers recruitment, onboarding, performance and employee relations, payroll accuracy, and governance of HR policies, benefits, and training. You will drive engagement and ensure legal compliance across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, I/O psychology, business admin or related field.
• 5–8 years of HR experience with payroll responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of SA labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, POPIA).
• Proficient in HRIS and payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Manage full HR function including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll process with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour legislation.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Manage employee benefits, leave administration, and remuneration processes.
• Provide guidance to management on HR matters.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives.
• Prepare HR and payroll reports and analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years' experience in HR
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and payroll practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
