Job summary

Placements24 in Mahikeng, North West, is seeking a motivated Junior HR Practitioner to join our growing HR team. You will provide support across recruitment administration, onboarding, records, and HR projects, with a hybrid work model offering in-office and remote flexibility.

Ideal candidates have an HR qualification (NQF 5/6) and up to 2 years of experience, plus strong MS Office skills and a readiness to learn in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant HR qualification (NQF 5/6) or related field.
• 0–2 years HR support experience.
• Basic knowledge of HR principles and SA labour law.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with HRIS is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Assist recruitment and CV screening.
• Support onboarding and documentation.
• Maintain HRIS employee data.
• Provide HR admin support, filing and records.
• Respond to basic HR policy queries.
• Organize HR-related training and development.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour laws.
• Support HR projects as directed by senior staff.
• Help manage employee communications.
