Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated HR Manager with a Talent Development focus to lead initiatives in Randburg. You will design and implement broad learning and development programs, succession planning, and performance management frameworks to build a high-performing culture.

This strategic role requires a passion for nurturing talent, strong facilitation and coaching skills, and the ability to partner with department heads to align people initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of HR experience with focus on talent management, learning, and development.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing L&D strategies and performance management systems.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and talent development methodologies.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage talent development programs including leadership training and skill-building initiatives.
• Oversee the succession planning process to identify and develop future leaders.
• Manage the performance management system, ensuring it drives employee growth and accountability.
• Develop and facilitate onboarding programs to ensure new hires integrate successfully and quickly.
• Analyze training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs.
• Collaborate with department heads to align talent development strategies with business goals.
