Job summary

Placements24 is looking for a diligent HR Generalist to support payroll and HR administration in East London. You will manage payroll cycles, maintain HRIS records, administer benefits, and draft employment documents while assisting HR reporting and queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Accounting.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR generalist roles with payroll focus.
• Proven experience with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Strong understanding of SA payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, deductions, and statutory payments.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Provide HR administrative support, including drafting employment contracts and letters.
• Respond to employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
• Assist with HR reporting requirements and data analysis as needed.
