Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment is seeking a Housekeeper for an award-winning Boutique Hotel in Franschhoek. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and shared spaces, delivering discreet and attentive service to guests.

The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented and capable of multitasking, with 2+ years’ experience in luxury hotel housekeeping. Night shifts and shifts in Franschhoek and nearby areas are preferred, with a commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with minimum 2 years of luxury hotel housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and methods.
• Excellent time keeping and ability to follow SOP standards.
• Attention to detail and high personal grooming standards.
• Good communication in English; able to work night shifts.
• Preference for candidates from Franschhoek and surrounding areas.

Award-winning Boutique Hotel in Franschhoek is looking for a Housekeeper.

You will excel in this role if you are flexible and able to multitask. Your high level of attention to detail with excellent organisational skills, and the ability to learn and adapt in the environment will be essential.

Staff transport available from Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch

Duties:

• Upkeep and cleaning of hotel rooms and communal guest areas
• Perform turndown and general housekeeping services to facilitate a seamless stay for hotel guests
• Exceeding guests' expectations, from arrival to departure in all areas of their stay
• Ensuring that all guests' special requests, requirements are communicated clearly and are met by all departments
• Deliver exceptional service
• Thinking out of the box to make guests' stay exceptional
• Adhere to and maintain Health and Safety standards

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or similar
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and methods
• Excellent time keeping
