You will leverage advanced analytics and market insights to drive revenue across all channels, with a focus on profitability and strategic growth in Gauteng's competitive hospitality sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of revenue management experience in hotels.
• Strong analytical, forecasting and pricing skills.
• Experience with PMS and revenue management software.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and strategic Hotel Revenue Manager to optimize revenue generation across their flagship property in Sandton. This role involves analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, and implementing dynamic pricing strategies to maximize room revenue and overall profitability. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure revenue goals are met and exceeded, leveraging advanced analytics and a deep understanding of the hospitality market in Gauteng. This is a key leadership position for a professional with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for maximizing financial performance in the competitive hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
• Analyze market data, competitor pricing, and historical trends to forecast demand accurately.
• Manage and optimize room inventory across all distribution channels, including OTAs and direct bookings.
• Implement dynamic pricing strategies and manage rate parity across platforms.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and packages.
• Prepare regular reports on revenue performance, market share, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Revenue Management within the hotel industry, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and revenue management software.
• Excellent understanding of the distribution landscape and online travel agencies (OTAs).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
