Hospitality Hire seeks a dynamic Procurement Manager to join the leadership team of a Cape Town hotel. The role focuses on strategic procurement, supplier management, and cost optimization to support operational excellence across F&B, Engineering, Housekeeping and Front Office.

Key responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, enforcing compliance, and driving continuous improvement while mentoring the procurement team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement management, hospitality industry advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, vendor management, and procurement regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Financial acumen with proven cost-saving achievements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with hotel business goals.
• Oversee all purchasing across departments including F&B, Engineering, Housekeeping and Front Office.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs with suppliers; manage supplier audits and evaluations.
• Monitor stock levels, turnover, waste reduction, and ensure timely deliveries.
