Job summary

Our Client, a leading supplier of premium hospitality amenities and guest products, seeks a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its SA sales team from Isando, Gauteng. This hunter-focused role targets new business and market expansion across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in sales leadership, strategic account growth, and regional management, with a proven ability to secure contracts and develop strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in sales leadership or business development management.
• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management, Commerce or a related field.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving new business.
• Demonstrated experience leading, motivating, and developing sales teams.
• Experience managing sales across multiple regions and/or African markets.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent commercial acumen and strategic planning abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Identify and secure sales opportunities with hotels, lodges, resorts, hospitality groups, and property developers.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and presentations to negotiations and closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and corporate decision-makers.
• Grow existing accounts through cross-selling, upselling, and exceptional customer service.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Set sales targets, monitor KPIs, manage performance, and drive accountability.
• Oversee sales budgets, forecasts, pipelines, and reporting.
• Identify new markets, territories, and opportunities for growth.
