ANEW Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Internal Auditor to ensure the company operates efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with laws and regulations. The role provides independent assurance on risk management, control and governance processes.

The successful candidate will be based in Gauteng, Centurion, and will audit across departments, identify control weaknesses, and report findings to senior management. This position requires 3–5 years in hospitality and travel to hotels as needed.

Competenze

• Matric certificate is the minimum education requirement.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry;
• Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in audit software.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a high level of integrity.

Mansioni

• Conduct internal audit procedures to assess the Company's financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and Company policies.
• Develop and implement audit plans based on identified risks and priorities.
• Identify weaknesses in internal systems and processes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Report audit findings to Management and provide constructive recommendations for enhancing controls.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on audit recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist in preparing audit reports and summaries for Senior management and audit committees.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote risk awareness and improve internal processes.
• Responsible for conducting all the internal audits for all the departments in the Company
