Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking a practical Handyman to join our hospitality team in East London. You will carry out general maintenance across the property, handle basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and building repairs, and ensure guests enjoy a well-maintained environment.

You should be able to troubleshoot maintenance issues, manage your time effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, and stay fit for manual tasks. Weekend and public holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman or maintenance experience.
• Practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance problems.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit for manual tasks.
• A valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general maintenance across the property.
• Performing basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and building repairs.
• Conducting routine inspections to identify maintenance issues.
• Maintaining gardens, outdoor areas, and general property upkeep where required.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
