Job summary

AGC Recruitment Pty Ltd is recruiting for an Accountant at a premium game lodge in Rivonia. The role covers full bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll within a hospitality environment.

You will supervise bookkeepers and prepare monthly management accounts, AFS, and VAT submissions, ensuring SARS compliance and asset control. Strong MS Office skills and SAICA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years' hospitality experience.
• Proficiency in Pastel, Xero & Sage.
• Registered with SAICA.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the activities of bookkeeper/s.
• Oversee daily reports and bank reconciliations for on-site allocations.
• Up to Trial Balance: posting of debit orders, creditors, bank reconciliations, etc.
• Prepare AFS and Audit Files for Annual Review.
• Prepare monthly Management Accounts.
• Reconcile Loan Accounts and VAT submissions.
• VAT verifications from SARS when required.
• Creditor and Debtor reconciliations across sites.
• Manage Asset register; assist with stock.
• BBEEE data preparation and submissions.
