Job summary

BCE Foods in Gauteng is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support stock handling, storage and movement. You will pick, pack, and verify items, replenish stock, and ensure efficient dispatch and receipt of goods while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

The role requires Grade 12, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work in a team. Previous warehouse experience and forklift certification are advantageous.

Job description

The purpose of this role is to support the efficient operation of the warehouse by ensuring accurate handling, storage, and movement of stock. The role involves maintaining organised inventory, assisting with receiving and dispatching goods, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-managed warehouse environment to support overall business operations.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Picking, packing, and checking stock accurately.
• Replenishing stock as needed to maintain inventory levels.
• Maintaining general warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
• Handling delicate and fragile products with care.
• Assisting with receiving stock and verifying that deliveries are correct.
• Preparing products for shipment or delivery when required.
• Assisting with deliveries and collections to and from customers when necessary

Qualifications and Requirements

• Grade 12/Matric (or equivalent)
• Warehouse and distribution working experience (highly beneficial).
• Forklift certification (highly beneficial).
• Computer literate (Advantage).
• Able to work in a team.
• Good command of the English language.
