Kabstrading Co is seeking a dedicated cleaning operative for hospital wards in Cape Town. You will wear gowns, masks and gloves and follow strict infection control steps while cleaning patient rooms per area.

Responsibilities include linen handling, mopping spills with the spill kit, completing cleaning logs for audits, and performing terminal cleans of isolation rooms after discharge. Training on colour-coded cloths and mops is provided.

Qualificações

• Will need to follow strict infection control steps every time.

Responsabilidades

• Wear gowns, masks and gloves as each room requires.
• Clean patient rooms using colour-coded cloths and mops for each area.
• Take soiled linen to the sluice room and bring clean linen back.
• Mop spills of blood or fluids using the spill kit.
• Fill in cleaning logs so infection control can audit the ward.
• Do terminal cleans of isolation rooms after a patient is discharged.
