Responsibilities include cleaning patient areas, waste handling, restocking, and adherence to infection control protocols. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, cleaning experience, and strong time-management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleaning/janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, storage and disposal methods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste and hazardous materials per hospital guidelines.
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Follow infection control protocols to prevent illness.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards of floors, windows, and surfaces.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
• Report maintenance/repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Communicate with patients and staff professionally.
