Placements24 is seeking an experienced Horticultural Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in Benoni, Gauteng. You will lead a team of farm workers, manage crop cycles, and implement best horticultural practices to ensure high-quality produce.

This on-site role requires a hands-on approach and strong knowledge of plant science and crop management. You will monitor crop health, coordinate irrigation, and help plan planting schedules while maintaining safety, records, and productivity

Qualifications

• Proven experience in horticultural production or a related agricultural field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably within horticulture.
• Solid understanding of plant physiology, soil management, and pest/disease control techniques.
• Experience managing and motivating a team of farm workers.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in outdoor conditions.
• Basic knowledge of farm equipment operation and maintenance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor as required.
• Residence or willingness to relocate to Benoni or commute daily.

Responsibilities
