Job summary

FNB Private Credit in Cape Town seeks a Private Credit Specialist to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, structure lending deals, and collaborate across the advisory team. You will evaluate financials and scenarios to support informed credit decisions and optimize client value within a disciplined risk framework.

The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, a team-focused mindset, and the ability to navigate complex structures while maintaining client service

Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk assessment and lending decisions.
• Ability to model cash flows for debt service in varied industries.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage a portfolio of HNW & UHNW clients.
• Attend client meetings with lending and advisory teams.
• Structure deals and compile credit papers.
• Present credit outcomes and covenants to committees.
• Monitor ongoing risk and covenants within client portfolios.
