Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and articulated vehicles, safely and efficiently.
• Transport goods and materials to various destinations within and around Richards Bay.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and its equipment.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it properly to prevent movement.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, distances traveled, and delivery details.
• Report any mechanical issues or defects to the maintenance department promptly.
