Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Industrial Cleaning Technician for on‑site work in Rustenburg, North West. You will handle heavy cleaning tasks on machinery, processing plants and workshops, using high‑pressure jetting and industrial vacuums while strictly following safety protocols.

The role requires physical fitness, chemical handling knowledge and the ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, in a challenging industrial environment. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial cleaning, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Understand chemical handling, safety procedures and PPE.
• Physical fitness to perform strenuous tasks and shift work.
• Must reside in Rustenburg or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Execute specialized cleaning for industrial machinery and plant infrastructure.
• Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment and industrial vacuums.
• Safely handle cleaning agents according to SDS; perform degreasing and maintenance cleaning.
• Follow HSE regulations and report equipment or safety concerns promptly.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and complete tasks within downtime.
