Placements24 is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Transport Driver to operate from Upington, Northern Cape. You will safely transport heavy machinery between project sites, loading and securing loads on low-bed trailers while following safety regulations.

A Code 14/EC license with PrDP and 6+ years of relevant experience are required. The role demands route planning, strong knowledge of regional roads, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 14/EC driver's license with a PrDP.
• Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in transporting heavy equipment, including extensive low-bed trailer operation.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or safety incidents.
• In-depth knowledge of load securing techniques for heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with transport regulations for oversized/overweight loads.
• Strong understanding of the Upington, Northern Cape area and regional road networks.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading and securing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Must pass rigorous background checks and medical evaluations.

Responsibilities
