Job summary

Takealot Group in Cape Town is seeking a Health and Safety intern for DC1 and DC3. The 18-month contract offers hands-on exposure to data, safety processes, and continuous improvement in a fast-growing e-commerce environment.

You will collect, analyse, and present operational data; contribute to planning and execution of projects; prepare clear reports and dashboards; and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Facilities, and Health & Safety to drive safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• N6/ NCV in Health and Safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, interpret, and present data to support decisions.
• Plan, coordinate and execute safety-related projects.
• Prepare clear reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Facilities, and Health & Safety.
• Support SOP development and process documentation.
• Monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify root causes and assist in implementing solutions.
