Job summary

Signcraft Africa is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join our team at Unit 1, Broadmill Park, Mt Edgecombe. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience in health and safety management and be organized with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, policy implementation, training coordination with HR, reporting SHE metrics, ISO compliance, and maintaining the safety file. SACPCMP registration and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant Health and Safety qualifications.
• SACPCMP registered, with valid certificate.
• Exposure to ISO standards and implementation essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety, health and environment risk assessments and audits.
• Implement and maintain Health and Safety policies and processes.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training with HR & Training Officer.
• Report on SHE statistics and identify improvement areas.
• Implement HSE activities and programs to promote a safe culture.
• Maintain ISO standards quality assurance.
• Compile and maintain the safety file.

• Maintain quality assurance on ISO standards
• Safety file compilation
