HealthSmart, a leading national health foods manufacturer, is seeking a New Product Developer to join its innovation team, contributing to the development of products under the Health Connection Wholefoods, Carbsmart, recently acquired Game, and affiliated brands.

The role requires 3-5 years’ hands-on NPD experience in the food industry and a BSc in Food Science or similar, with responsibilities spanning concept-to-launch, ingredient sourcing, recipe development, and compliance with food safety

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years’ hands on NPD experience in the food industry.
• BSc Food Science or similar.

Aufgaben

• Support end-to-end new product development from concept through launch.
• Manage assigned NPD projects to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Source ingredients and packaging, maintaining supplier relationships and supporting accurate product costings.
• Conduct recipe development, including kitchen trials, factory scale-ups, and internal consumer tasting panels.
• Ensure all new products comply with labeling regulations, shelf-life requirements and food safety standards.
• Maintain comprehensive NPD documentation, including specifications and product data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support launches and post-launch performance.
• Analyze sales data to evaluate product performance and identify improvements.
