Job summary

Pronel Personnel in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a creative Product Developer for an FMCG environment, focused on food, innovation and product development. You will assist with new product, recipe and formulation development and coordinate projects from concept to launch.

The role requires qualification in Food Technology/ Food Science, strong tasting and research skills, plus collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Food Technology, Food Science, Consumer Science or similar.
• Previous food technology/product development experience.
• Strong tasting and research skills.
• Project management experience would be advantageous.
• FMCG experience advantageous.
• Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• Passionate foodie with a drive to innovate.
