You will drive strategic growth, organize tournaments, and maintain exceptional service standards while managing budgets and maintaining strong member relations. The position requires commitment to flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to suit club activities.

Formación

• Minimum 7 years in tennis coaching and program management.
• At least 3 years in a director or head professional role.
• Professional tennis certification (PTR or USPTA) required.
• Proven track record in developing players and managing quality programs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in budget management and staff supervision.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of Western Cape Leisure & Sports landscape is advantageous.
• Must reside within commuting distance of Paarl.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement comprehensive tennis programs for all ages and skill levels, including clinics, private lessons, group training, and social events.
• Recruit, train, manage, and mentor a team of qualified tennis professionals and support staff.
• Oversee the daily operations of the tennis facilities, including court maintenance, equipment management, and clubhouse services.
• Create and execute a strategic plan for growth and development of the tennis program, enhancing member engagement and satisfaction.
• Organize and manage club tournaments, inter-club competitions, and exhibition events.
• Maintain strong relationships with members, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Manage the tennis program's budget, including revenue generation, expense control, and equipment procurement.
• Ensure compliance with club policies and industry best practices in coaching and facility management.
• Promote the club's tennis program within the Paarl community and surrounding areas.
• Stay current with tennis trends, coaching methodologies, and equipment innovations.
