Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a Head of Operations for Mining Technology & Services in Witbank, Mpumalanga. This senior role commands responsibility for service delivery, field operations and commercial performance across SA and select SADC markets.

You will translate business strategy into operational results, build accountable teams, and ensure reliable service delivery across multiple sites with a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant operational experience, including at least 5 years leading managers or supervisors.
• Proven experience managing customer SLAs, operational budgets and field service teams.
• Experience in mining services, industrial technology, logistics or similar field-based environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive performance.
• Willingness to travel regularly to operational sites and support regional operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational service delivery, ensuring SLAs and customer expectations are met.
• Oversee field services, technician deployment, installation projects and readiness.
• Manage budgets, workforce capacity, fleets, facilities and subcontractors.
• Drive cost control, efficiency and continuous improvement while maintaining safety.
• Lead and develop managers and supervisors with clear accountability.
• Handle customer escalations and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Maintain compliance with site safety requirements and standards.
• Provide operational reporting, risk visibility and strategic recommendations to the CEO.
